![]() ![]() With the time jump, we start to see how much the characters have matured and changed from their younger selves. The only redeeming part of these characters was that we got to see how much they grew. As their 20-year-old selves, I didn’t think they would work together. One moment he could be an absolute cutie pie, making me fall for him the next moment, he would do a complete 180 and be a totally different person. He was charming to a fault yet still showed problematic characteristics. Pilot also didn’t rub me the right way either. Shane is goofy and naïve when we first meet her, but the obsession with a boy she met like 5 seconds ago wasn’t believable for a 20-year-old. I get crushes and understand that you can do crazy things when around them, but I questioned a lot of her actions. The only issue that I had with them, in the beginning, was the obsessive level that Shane was taking her crush on Pilot to. The connection between the two of them is prevalent right from the beginning. I went back and forth with how I felt about the main characters, Shane and Pilot. ![]()
